Franchise of SOCIETE GENERALE GROUP, SOCIETE GENERALE CAPITAL SECURITIES CENTRAL AFRICA (SG CAPITAL CEMAC) is a brokerage firm accredited by the Financial Sector Supervisory Authority for Central Africa (COSUMAF) under the number 091/10/CMF/18, by virtue of an MOU signed on 27/03/2018 between COSUMAF and CMF of Cameroon in view of merging the Central Africa’s financial market. SG CAPITAL CEMAC is thus capable of deploying the Group’s expertise in transferable securities across the CEMAC zone.

Initially known as Sogebourse Cemac, this subsidiary made it possible to outsource market activities that Société Générale Cameroun carried out during a period of 15 years on the Cameroonian financial market, which it contributed to build the backbone through notably the structuring of the first three and only IPOs that took place in 2006, 2008 and 2009, and its participation as co-arranger in the inaugural bond issue of the State of Cameroon, launched in 2010 for a record figure of 200 Billion CFAF on the national market.
